Yupeng Fu is a Principal Software Engineer in Uber’s Storage, Search, and Data (SSD) team, building scalable, reliable and performant Search and Real-Time Data Platforms. Yupeng is a maintainer of the OpenSearch Project and a member of the OpenSearch Software Foundation Technical Steering Committee (TSC).

Kris Freedain is the Community Manager for the OpenSearch Project & OpenSearch Software Foundation technical steering committee. He has experience in community engagement, digital marketing, support, and release management throughout his career, contributing to various initiatives and events within the tech community. He has decades of experience in tech, but finds connecting people to be the most fulfilling part of being a community professional.
