LF Open Source, LLC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for participants at all of our events, whether they are held in person or virtually. LF Open Source, LLC events are working conferences intended for professional networking and collaboration in the Linux community. They exist to encourage the open exchange of ideas and expression and require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group. While at LF Open Source, LLC events, in person or virtual, or related ancillary or social events, any participants, including speakers, attendees, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors, booth staff and anyone else, should not engage in harassment in any form.

The expanded Event Code of Conduct contains full details and examples, which cover behavior expectations, unacceptable behavior and consequences, as well as incident reporting and response protocol.

By registering to attend the event, you hereby consent to the photographing of yourself and the recording of your voice and the use of these photographs and/or recordings singularly or in conjunction with other photographs and/or recordings worldwide for advertising, publicity, commercial or other business purposes for LF Open Source, LLC. You understand that the term “photograph” as used herein encompasses both still photographs and motion picture footage. To the extent permitted by the applicable laws, LF Open Source, LLC shall be the exclusive owner of all rights, titles and interests in the results of the foregoing actions. As between you and LF Open Source, LLC, you waive any right you may have with regard to such results, whether existing now or in the future.

If you would like to request that individual or small-group images of you not be used, please email events@lfopensource.org. However, you acknowledge that due to the nature of an event, there may be circumstances where your image or voice could reasonably appear in crowd or large-group shots, or in recordings of public sessions, which cannot be individually excluded.

All participants must be individually registered and possess a valid event pass. Badges are strictly non-transferable and may only be used by the individual to whom they are issued, regardless of the length of attendance. No exceptions will be made.

Any instance of badge sharing discovered during the event will result in an additional registration fee charged at the standard registration rate. Furthermore, individuals involved in badge sharing may be removed from the event at the discretion of event management.

You agree that you will not record, copy, reproduce, live stream, rebroadcast or otherwise distribute recordings, live streams, or broadcasts of events hosted by LF Open Source, LLC without first obtaining the express written permission of LF Open Source, LLC.

LF Open Source, LLC does not allow firearms, regardless of whether they are permitted or not, or whether they are concealed or not, to be brought into our events. By agreeing to these terms, you are agreeing that you understand this policy and will not bring a firearm into the event.

LF Open Source, LLC 不允许任何人将枪支带入我们的活动场所，无论该枪支是否合法持有，或是否为隐蔽携带。通过同意本条款，您确认已理解本政策，并承诺不会将枪支带入活动现场。

BY REGISTERING TO ATTEND THE EVENT, AND/OR BY ATTENDING THE EVENT, YOU AGREE THAT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LF OPEN SOURCE, LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, THAT OCCUR AS A RESULT OF YOUR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THOSE RESULTING FROM LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, OR DEATH. IF THE FOREGOING LIMITATION IS NOT ENFORCEABLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THEN YOU AGREE THAT THE LIABILITY OF LF Open Source, LLC WILL IN NO CASE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR ADMITTANCE TO THE EVENT. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY ARE AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF LF Open Source, LLC’S DECISION TO OFFER THE EVENT, AND SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY UPON WHICH DAMAGES MAY BE CLAIMED; REGARDLESS OF WHETHER A PARTY KNEW OR SHOULD HAVE KNOWN OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES; AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY CAUSE ANY REMEDY TO FAIL IN ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

通过注册参加本次活动和/或实际参加本次活动，您同意，在法律允许的最大范围内，LF Open Source, LLC 对您或任何其他人因您参加本次活动而产生的任何损害不承担任何责任，包括但不限于任何直接、间接、后果性、特殊性、示范性或惩罚性损害赔偿，包括但不限于因个人财产的丢失或损坏、人身伤害、疾病或死亡所导致的损害。

如上述责任限制在适用法律下不可执行，则您同意，LF Open Source, LLC 的责任在任何情况下均不超过您为参加本次活动所支付的费用金额。上述责任限制是 LF Open Source, LLC 决定举办本次活动的重要基础，并且无论损害赔偿基于何种法律理论主张；无论任何一方是否知道或理应知道此类损害发生的可能性；以及无论上述责任限制是否导致任何救济措施未能实现其根本目的，均应适用。

Cancellations

Please visit the bottom of the registration page to modify or cancel your registration. If you need further assistance, email events@lfopensource.org.

Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received by 25 August 2026, two weeks prior to the main event start date (including bulk ticket requests, co-located events), and add-ons – and will appear as a credit on the card’s statement 7 – 10 business days after cancellation. Refunds can only be issued on the card the original payment was made.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend, you may substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation. To substitute an attendee, please visit the bottom of the registration page to modify your registration.
